How To Use An Eventbrite Promo Code

At Film Festival Circuit LLC, we use Eventbrite to sell tickets to our Film Festival Events. We issue a promo code to Filmmakers and Screenwriters that have been selected, in order to give them free admission, if they register in a specific time frame. Sometimes, people are confused by this process. They assume that the promo code will be applied after they click the "checkout button." This is not true, on Eventbrite, you have to enter the code before you check out. On this page, you can watch this step by step video or follow the steps below. Step By Step Instructions. Apply Your Eventbrite Promo Code

Step 1: Go to Eventbrite.com

Step 2: Search for the event that you would like to attend.

(In this example, we use the Oregon Short Film Festival)

Step 3: On this page, click on the title of the event.

Step 4: Click on the Green Button that reads "Tickets."

Step 5: On this page, you will see the words "Enter Promo Code" in blue.
Click on the blue text and you will be prompted to enter the promo code.

Step 6: Then click apply. You will get a message in the gray bar.

This confirms that the promo code has been applied and the discount is available.

Step 7: Then choose the number of tickets for this event that you would like to register.

Notice, that on the right hand side under the Order summary, the discount is applied.

Step 8: When you are finished, click on the red "Checkout" Button.

Step 9: Answer the Optional Question

For our Film Festival Events, we list every official selection that has been invited. If you are representing one or more of the films as a cast member, crew member, family or friend, please check the box, so that we know you are coming. If not, simply check the box that reads "I am attending for fun. I am not representing a specific film or screenplay in this festival." Then click the red "register" button and you're finished.
